James (rock_biologist) found a really cool pic of me in my Nefertiti outfit. This is from Sunday, maybe in the Marriott or right outside. There is also a pic of James' "gumby-off" with Terry Gilliam in that same stream :D

Thanks! (I can tell it is from Sunday because I plucked my eyebrows, ha :D ) Also I like the fact that the photographer is actually a bioinformatics graduate student at GA Tech. Yay for side hobbies.

LOL yeah, in a very neo-Victorian way. We'll keep the "dressed as an egyptian queen" part and leave out "from a Doctor Who episode" and the fact that the crown is actually vinyl flooring held together with duct tape ;)

I remember that guy taking your picture. He was all, 'turn your head, a little more,' and we were laughing about it because at least he didn't ask you to lean forward, lol. And he got a truly beautiful picture out of it. :)

Thanks! Ha, I showed it on my phone to a co-worker today and he was like, "Oh, is that the original reference you went with?" And I said, "No, that's me." "Wow, you look different." "Yeah, I clean up pretty good."

I think this is going to be a tough costume to search photostreams for too. Too many ways to spell "Nefertiti" or Cleopatra, or "Egyptian costume".

I even had two lovely ladies ask if I was Erimem when I was walking with auntiemeesh in her Steampunk Five.
