I got some really lovely presents from Fandom stocking this year. Fics and icons/gifs and recs! Thanks so much to everyone!



My BNF icon is from lost_spook on account of running a rather successful Friending meme this past year :D Thanks, babe!

I got a fun gifspam from apple_pathways (HA, Old Spice Eleven!!!), and another gifspam from significantowl (the poor kitty!), as well as a set of Teaspoon Recs from azarsuerte that I am making my way through. Thanks again; I don't use Tumblr or anything like that so gifspams are totally fun and awesome.

And I got Fics as well!

From ladymercury_10, a TARDIS POV story with Ace, Seven, science and explosions. YES, those are all fantastic things on their own, and even more fantastic rolled into one thing: Thermodynamic Stability

From clocketpatch, an adventure with Eleven and science and true aliens and the persistence of causes in a transient world. Really, gorgeous and evocative and creative, and kind of rips your heart out at the end: Missing Link on the Brink of Destruction

From dbskyler, a half-drabble about the conflicts between parents and unruly children.

From kaffyr, a sweet story about Eleven and Rory bonding in unexpected ways when they need some quiet time away from the girls: The Benefits of Being on the Shelf. Because we all need a library to ourselves once in a while :D

I was totally spoiled, yeah :) Maybe my fic-writing mojo will pick up soon. (And I am still gonna try some pod-fics this week while I have the house to myself, yeah).

No worries! I understand being busy. I didn't have time to write as much as I wanted to and had to find other ways to stuff stockings, too. :P

Trope bingo looks like so much fun, but I am terrible at bingoes and have not come close to finishing my last one (cotton candy bingo).

Well, I seem to write better to prompts these days, so hopefully it will help me out. I also understand it's a structured comm and all that but I don't particularly feel an obligation to finish, so it's more just for me :)
