Awesome Femme Six. The description says Victorian but she is more like... 17th century France? 18th century? I don't know my historical costumes but do know she is too early for Victorian ;)

Thanks! auntiemeesh got me the glasses lenses as a late birthday present from the Dealer's Room. She had her gold paint pen from decorating her pocketwatch so I added the Gallifreyan on the lens when we got back up to the room. I'm a bit bummed you can't see the hat decoration better in those pics, but ah well.

These are all awesome! The "Victorian" TARDIS had all the doctor's on the back, nice touch. My First Dragon Con so I was snapping a bunch of pics, not really uploaded them all yet but here is one I grabbed.

Thanks! I've been trolling D*C posts for some good pics of the back. The beading is Tom Baker's scarf pattern, one bead for each row. That was difficult to keep away from the 3 year old! I had an angel wing on Tennant's pick for "Blink". I'm going to try to add something for each Doctor over the next year.

Thanks! It was a fun costume to make :) And to wear too! At one point in the parade a little kid on the sideline looked at me with this dazzling smile and said, "Who are you?!" And I said back "I'm the Doctor!" And it was awesome! :D

Hi! I was directed here by brewsternorth - I'm the femme!Six! You're right, it's mid-to-late 18th century, sort of a cross between a robe à la française (like what Reinette wore) and a robe anglais (which evolved from that). I look awfully tired and makeup-less in that picture, but thank you all the same. XD

Your Femme!Six was truly amazing. Honestly, I love Six to pieces and wanted to do a femme six but it was a bit overwhelming to figure out. But I love the way the crazy decadence and opulence of that style meshes with Six's flamboyance; it's brilliant! I love the ribbon trim. And the parasol. And the little cape homage to his blue coat. Anyway, as I said, brilliant.

I only got one fleeting photo of you with my camera phone before we all set out to the park, and it was blurry so I was glad to find one online and link to it. I didn't notice makeup-less-ness or anything like that; was too caught up in the awesomeness :D

Thank you so much! The ribbon trim was one part I redid, it's much better than what was there before, so I'm glad people like it, haha. And I wanted to do a longer cape but in that heat, yeahhh, maybe not.

I figured no one would notice the lack of makeup (overslept, whoops) with the eye-blindingness of the dress. Good to know it makes excellent camouflage.

Your costume looks fabulous, and how cool that you got to meet McCoy! Everyone's costumes look really good. Is it just me, or does the guy dressed as Seven in the last photo look like he would make a good Five? Something about his face reminds me of Peter Davison.

Thanks! The guy in the last pic is Andy who is the fearless leader of the Prydon Academy boards. He dresses as Seven every year and his girlfriend does Ace. I think they really look the part! :D

It's great to know that the outfit was still recognizable :D I think most of the time people caught sight of auntiemeesh first and then integrated her more recognizably Five outfit with mine to get the motif. :D We did have one guy chase us down and say, "Wait, wait, let me get this right" (points at meeshie) "You're five?" (We nod) "And you are ..." (scrutinizes me) ... "unrelated." LOL in his defense he said he stopped watching at Six. HIS LOSS! :D :D :D
