May. 2nd, 2011 10:18 pmAnd another question about Day of the Moon:
If the little girl IS Amy's daughter then why and how did she end up in a children's home? ALSO, why would Eleven automatically assume that the little girl had been kidnapped and why would that suggest looking in children's homes? Also, did orphanages still actually exist in 1969? Not many, surely. That seems like quite a leap. Well, of many for this episode I suppose.
Also, Murray, the Hail to the Chief music...oh man... *headdesk*
ETA again, on third or so rewatch I'm coming back around to realizing that yeah, okay, that ep was pretty cool. Getting optimistic for the series again, yay!
EATA: but a question for that last scene, didn't the Doctor and River repeatedly turn their backs on the Silence in that scene? Maybe because they were inside the ship and it was a Silence ship, the effect was nullified. Or maybe there were Silents in their sightlines that I missed.
