Paul Cornell is looking for fan fiction that uses his characters. See the link for details. Apparently WebCast 9th Doctor counts (I'm looking at you cryptile, *coughirksomewordandtaskcough*). I'm pretty sure I've not written any of his characters though. Anybody got a list somewhere?

Seriously, let's start a movement to replace Moff with Cornell. The idea of Cornell at the helm of DW - it would be seriously close to Nirvana in my world.

But I've got the same question as you - who exactly are the characters that he created? Does John Smith, the fobwatched Doctor count? Probably not...

It probably does count. Shalka Doctor counts, and so I imagine would Alison Cheney and the Robot master. And Bernice Summerfield. I know I've not written anything with his characters :( though it would be fun to send something in.

I finally got around to this - emailed a link to one of my stories and asked him about the John Smith thing. He replied saying it was fine.

I'm going to repost this to my flist. I think there are a LOT of fangirls out there with human!Doctor stories they'd like to share.
