This was fun, and oh hey, Eleventy! It was very RTD in that the plot made no sense whatsoever and was only there to provide a minimal framework on which to set some lovely character scenes. Jo Jones was great; I loved her a lot. I think my favorite scene was the conversation between her and the Doctor on the battlefield planet. That, and Clyde (who is now my favoritest person ever by the way and I want him to be in series 6) giving the Doctor the third degree as they are shuffling for their lives out of the ventilation shaft.

Yeah, Clyde switching places with the Doctor was great, and the "remember when we used to go running off to other worlds?" bit right before they zapped 10000 light-years away was great, and "What about the Mona Lisa?" was great and the Doctor giving them the "gotcha" at the end was faboo... so there were a few things that were a bit "meh" but I wave my hands at them and instead focus on the Doctor telling Jo "oh, you're an idiot!" in the most lovingly possible way.

(Wouldn't it have been more interesting, though, if Sarah Jane and Jo didn't just overload the memory weave but turned the little key weave instead into a weave of the Doctor? That would've been a hell of a way to get inside the door!)

That was fun. And now I want to see the Christmas special and series 6. Right now! Darn it.

So we'd have Eleven 2.0? :D Not that I'd mind, but this IS RTD -- goodness knows what he'd do with him.

(Shuffle for your life!)

Cold Blood, among other things, I think. Haven't there been other episodes with something similar? It's Standard Equipment for Evil Labs of Evil, I think. :D

It made no sense at all. It was absolutely amazing. Because it's probably impossible to put Clyde and Jo and Eleven together without it being amazing. :D :D :D

There was so much lovely stuff in that episode, yes.~

I wanted Sarah and Jo to focus on the monster from Peladon. >D They both remember it, and why not whip up a monster to attack their attackers? Then everything wouldn't have blown up and it would have tied back to their earlier conversation and let them save the day.~ But oh well.

If Jon Pertwee were still alive I'm 100% sure Rusty would have done that, since that is the Doctor that Jo and SJ could collectively remember. Now THAT would have been awesome!

As it is, Matt did an incredible job of looking like Pertwee at a few points in the conversation with Jo on the orange planet.
