Orange Cat
Oct. 18th, 2010 07:36 pmWell, orange kitty was here this morning and this evening, meowing piteously for food on the side porch in the rain. I made an appointment tomorrow morning to get him checked out ("No, neither of those pets, a stray cat. Does he have a name? Um, 'Orange Cat'."), and so I don't have to try to capture him tomorrow morning, I corralled him easily into the carrier that was on the porch and brought him inside.
He was a bit freaked out by getting moved in the carrier. He is still freaked out and I hope he will settle down a bit. For now he is hanging out in the bathroom upstairs with some food, water and a makeshift litter box. I hung out with him for a little bit and he explored the bathroom some, and purred when I pet him.
I pulled one tick just crawling in his fur, and he has a few more attached on him. Hopefully the vet's will have a good pair of tweezers and some disinfectant and stuff to remove them. Wish the orange kitty luck for a good checkup tomorrow!
