But I thought I'd put out a post here to say the cheesecake was a success! For I have just finished de-panning and swirled chocolate on them and taste-testing one of them. It's a good light consistency but still really rich, with a great lemony flavor. Would probably do well with cherries on top too. Alton Brown sure knows what he's talking about!
In other news, I have been watching more Supernatural
OH MY GOD THEY KILLED JOHN WINCHESTER! YOU BASTARDS!
Ahem.
I just thought I'd get that off my chest. Damn it! I so wanted him to live, if only for Sam and Dean. I watched the last four eps of season 1 last night and had to go out and buy season 2 today and I was thinking no one could really survive a car crash like that, but they did, and then they went and had John make a deal with the devil (literally) and give himself up in the process. And oh man, it didn't really pack an emotional smackdown until the end of the episode three episodes later with the zombie girl. Then I totally cried :(
I was going to stop at the end of disc 1 and wait for D to catch up while I'm away, but I had to skip a few forward and watch "The Usual Suspects" because oh my GOD have I been itching for that storyline-- where the cops pick them up and their world clashes with the real world, and they have to get out of jail AND solve a supernatural mystery at the same time. I think it did a pretty good job, plus Linda Blair was great (funny lines at the end too-- "Now I want pea soup", lol). Though, if anyone has any fic recs along those lines (No spoilers past the beginning of season 2), point me that way!

sorry about the edit - stupid touch plate on my laptop. I've had the damn thing for over six months and I still keep accidentally moving the cursor without realizing it.

And I want to know what the demon's plans are for Sam! And, and... arg, we just watched "in my time of dying" and D is going to go to bed :( Arg. More. Waiting. I don't know if I will be able to hold out.
