Danish National Symphony Orchestra does music from old spaghetti westerns. There are a bunch but this one is my favorite so far:

It also reminds me a bit of some of Murray Gold's new Who music scores too (or eg, the other way around). Like Rose's Doomsday theme for example. But more so makes me wish Ennio Morricone would score the new season.

Very cool! I'm going to have to check out their other vids. I hope they've done music from 'The Mission' because that's awesome. I do like Morricone.

He scored the whole film. Absolutely stunning. The first time I heard the CD at someone else's place, I had to know what it was, and got hold of The Mission just because of it. Often music detracts because it's too loud or drowns dialogue, but it was perfect here: it gave me chills down my spine in several scenes and made them indelible.
