Pork chop sauce the second

1/4 c rice wine vinegar
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c diced red onion
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cilantro
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 small asian dried red pepper, crushed
1 1/2 c applesauce
1 tbsp cooking oil
Saute onions, garlic and red pepper in oil on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Mix spices together with a little water to make a paste. Add spices to skillet and saute for another two minutes or so. Turn down heat, add vinegar and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves and mixture starts to thicken. Add applesauce and simmer for 20 minutes or so.
