Spoilers for the scavenger hunt game below:

Slide4
Ellen Ripley is the winner. As she damn well should be.

Bracket A: TV
1. Jon Snow (Basement hallway). Game of Thrones. The Westeros Quiz shows us he really knows nothing.
2. Cylon (Kitchen): Battlestar Galactica. The toasters will destroy us all.
3. Dalek (Unfinished basement): Doctor Who. Poster of an ironsides Dalek from Victory of the Daleks
4. Buffy (Dining room): Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Sunnydale High school senior yearbook, nail polish, and of course Mr. Pointy.
a. The Doctor (Upstairs): Doctor Who. Sonic Screwdriver, bow tie, and the TARDIS.
b. White Walker (Breakfast nook): Game of Thrones. Picture of the Walker in the creepy woods.
c. Starbuck (Sun room): Battlestar Galactica. Leiutenant Kara Thrace is represented by the Starbuck's cup on the mantle.
d. Spike (Music room): Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Red shirt (cheaper than a leather jacket for sure), vampire teeth and a railroad spike in his pocket for good measure. In the show, Buffy's sometimes-enemy sometimes-lover got the nickname 'Spike' for a tendency to use railroad spikes in his younger vampire years.

Bracket B: Film
5. Harry Potter (Upstairs): Harry Potter Franchise. Wand, glasses and the Golden Snitch mark our favorite wizarding boy.
6. Ripley (Dining room): Aliens franchise. Ellen Ripley is represented by the green military(ish) jacket and the Warrant Officer badge from the USCSS Nostromo under the Weyland-Yutani Corporation.
7. Dorothy (Kitchen): The Wizard of Oz. Ruby slippers and a basket. I didn't have blue gingham but I did have a blue striped cloth.
8. Marshmallow Man (Unfinished basement): Ghostbusters. Hanging out on the furnace, this time he could take the heat.
e. Ghostbusters (down the basement stairs): Ghostbusters. A little ghost trap cardboard contraption. Picky to put together, but cute.
f. Wicked Witch (Basement hallway): The Wizard of Oz. She's just a hat and a black dress after Dorothy melts her with Hydrogen dioxide.
g. Dementor (Sun room): Harry Potter franchise. Terrorizing the prisoners of Azkaban for their wrongdoing. I put it together with a foam beauty head, a set of "shoulder pads" made from cutting boards that I used 10 years ago for my Aku costume, a fake skeleton hand and a bunch of scrap black fabric.
h. Alien (Basement hallway): Aliens franchise. LV-426 is the planet to which the Nostromo was diverted to investigate the Giger-esque Alien. If you look closely at the poster you can see the Alien trademark silhouette.

Bracket C: Books/Mythology
9. Medusa (Living room): Greek Mythology (also Clash of the Titans and its remake). Resusi-Annie head with red-painted eyes and snake hair. I can't even remember where/why I have a Resusi-Annie head? Possibly from Alan at the FCG group?
10. Thor (Unfinished basement): Norse Mythology. Thor's Hammer (replica from the Avengers movie) in the corner.
11. Dragon (Living room): Christian legends/Hagiography. There were several dragons in that room to choose from; I went with the wall hanging.
12. Gandalf (Living room): Lord of the Rings trilogy. His famous line (appearing in both the book and the movie) has become something of an Internet meme. Also this clue was functional since the cats were in the bedroom, and the bedroom was a flaming mess.
i. St. George (Upstairs): Christian legends/Hagiography. Iconic picture of his battle with the Dragon.
j. Perseus (Music room): Greek Mythology. Sword, mirror shield and golden owl. Perseus had Athena's favor battling Medusa, and used the reflection in his shield to look at her so as not to be turned to stone. Also Bubo the golden owl is a very memorable character from "Clash of the Titans". Though mine was a bank from the dollar store.
k. Loki (Kitchen): Norse Mythology. One of the hardest ones. This is a picture of the punishment of Loki. Loki was chained to a rock and menaced by a poisonous snake who dripped acid venom on him. His wife held a chalice above the snake's mouth to catch the poison, but when she had to empty the cup, the snake venom would hit Loki and his agony and writhing was what caused earthquakes.
l. Balrog (Music room): Lord of the Rings trilogy. I used a picture that showed its flaming whip, and also a ring clue to let folks know it was Tolkien. Actually I put them in books/myth because I don't think the name "Balrog" was ever mentioned in the movie? But it is a very memorable moment from the books.

Bracket D: Comics
13. Red Skull (Dining room): Captain America comics. This was a wordplay clue, of a skull painted red. The Red Skull is one of Captain America's enemies in the comics.
14. Professor X (Music room): X-men comics. A picture of him (possibly right before he becomes Onslaught, but I'm not sure).
15. Green Goblin (Music room): Spiderman comics. Another wordplay clue; a green goblin head on the mantle. Another dollar store purchase; it was acutally a "door knocker" that I took the ring out of.
16. Batman (Sun room): DC Batman comics. Jack-o-lantern with the Batman symbol. I carved it Saturday morning.
m. Magneto (Kitchen): X-men comics. Wordplay clue, a picture of an actual magneto from engineering. Easier to get when you've found Professor X.
n. Joker (Unfinished basement): DC Batman comics. Wordplay clue, a Joker from a deck of cards.
o. Spiderman (Basement hallway): Spiderman comics. Another inexpensive purchase, a mask from Wal-mart for $3.
p. Captain America (Basement hallway): Captain America comics. A night light of his shield. Another dollar store purchase, quite a fun find for this game.
