Another reason why hockey is the best sport in the world

NHL and NHLPA announce partnership with You Can Play, an organization devoted to ending homophobia in sports, and making locker rooms & teams inclusive and safe spaces.

I saw this PSA for the first time last year, late at night one night when I was flipping channels, and it was the first time I'd ever seen anything like it. And there's a whole range of them, with NHL superstars like Zdeno Chara and Steven Stamkos, and the gritty players, shutdown D-men and fourth liners like Brooks Orpik, Tanner Glass, and Cal Clutterbuck. These guys know what's important, and I'm proud of the organizations for committing to this project. And proud to be a fan, too :)

My BB and I saw the news stories about this - in fact, we both wanted to tell each other the news; it's so very impressive and cool that the sport I grew up watching is the first professional league to do something like this. Go, hockey!
