Pittsburgh Dad reviews "The Dark Knight Rises". "I seen more Batman in a Scooby Doo episode!"

Oh, thanks for linking to that. I just watched several of his other reviews, too, and they were hilarious. (Also, his accent is making me weirdly homesick. Hey, South Jersey, Pittsburgh... close enough, especially when you've been living in New Mexico for twenty years. :))

Ahahaha I can't breathe. That's all true, and all hilarious. And I like that movie anyway because Anne Hathaway is an amazing Catwoman.

Have you seen the movie yet?

You should! Ahaha I am not very good at Netflix or movies, either though. I think I have been behind on pop culture pretty much since I was born. :P

Yes, it's slightly different, but hard to put one's finger on precisely. There's some different word-usage, too, I know that. Or at least there used to be. My mother's second husband was from Pittsburgh, and we always used to make fun of him for calling a shopping cart a "buggy." :)

What's equally crazy is I think we've internet-known each other at least half that time... (!)

Holy crap, that cannot be right, can it? Time, it flies like crazy... Wow.

Wow. Wow. Now I just feel old. :)

Oh, gawd. Yes, I get reactions like that far too often. Usually for me it's when people talk about growing up watching ST:TNG, and I suddenly realize that there are grown adults who never remember a time when Original Trek was the only Trek. :)

Heh. It does, but only slightly. :) I was 16 when TNG first started, and it ran all through my college years.

Supposedly we're going to get an inch or so - but it's gonna rain like mad before that happens, so I'm more worried about ice! We're partially in the path, but according to the forecasters it is gonna by pass us for the most part to hammer Indiana.
