Flickering lights... Well the lights did go out in the Tower of London, but they didn't flicker.
Speaking of....honestly, I really hope that they don't get sent back and trapped in past time without at least saying goodbye properly to Brian and the Doctor ... but it sounds like maybe something heartbreaking will happen because of the time spent in this episode on how it'll be "never them". A wise Nine once said, "never say never-ever"....so I am really dreading the fact that because I still bawl at Army of Ghosts/Doomsday even though I've seen it a dozen times, next week's ep has the potential to be devastating.
I am pretty zen about next week. I am pretty sure Moffat won't give Amy and Rory a bad ending. I kind of hope that Amy's storytelling in this one is telling stories to her and Rory's kids. So maybe they get sent back in time, but only from the Doctor's perspective, in that they get sent back in time to their contemporary time? So, somehow, timey-wimey being what it is, the Doctor can't go back and see them but they live out their lives as they would have.
Um. I hope. Man, thinking about it is now making me more nervous. Also I'm not a huge fan of the Weeping Angels--but this whole series has been pretty good so far, so hopefully it won't end on a bad note. :(
