I really enjoyed the way that you managed to convey that sense of detachment, of almost clinical precision through the style and tone - the pauses and things left unsaid or only hinted at. It suited the perception of the Asgard, and really gave the fic an interesting twist.
He knew a derelict city when he saw one, even from a distance.
I think that this line, more than any other gave me pause. There's so much weight behind it, so much history that rings true for his character.
