More Doctor Who Limericks, specially for
lizamanynames ;)
The Old School Regeneration Blues
----------------------------------
As Mondas and Earth have a scrape
The First Doctor finds no escape.
He stops midway through
To change into Two
(Thank goodness for Blue Peter's tape).
A lesson is learned by the Second
who comes when the High Council beckons.
They mind-wipe his kids,
throw Two on the skids;
Three won't be so civil, I reckon.
Exiled, the Third Doctor's duration
is a study in Earth preservation.
Then a spat among writers--
monks, psychics and spiders?--
Sadly settles on irradiation.
The Fourth Doctor outlasts them all;
He tousles with foes great and small,
But the Master's munitions
on a world of logicians
set up a spectacular fall.
Tough times come for Doc number Five
as he fails to keep Adric alive.
The casualties mount
(do Dalek clones count?)
and he just can't drink bat's milk and drive.
Much worse fate befalls Doctor Six;
He takes more than his fair share of licks,
But his worst enemy
is the vile BBC
who fells him with foul politics.
Oh no, now Seven's been shot!
But really, don't give it a thought;
He'll regenerate
into Doc number Eight
While we decide if it's canon or not.
