Doctor Who is a great fandom for math nerds, I must say. Both straight math and math as metaphor. I have done a lot with it over the years :)
I don't sew/craft nearly as much as I used to (RL stuff got in the way), but it's always nice to be able to build something tangible. My day job is all code and analyses and reports.
