Am I the only one who, when River said, "You are so doing those roots", thought she meant mathematical roots (n-th roots, roots of polynomials, etc)? That line really confused me. I looked over the transcript to see if there was anything preceding it that I missed but no, it was just kind of out of left field.

Yeah, when I realized she meant his hair, it did not alleviate the confusion... I mean, all of his hair is pretty much gray. Roots wouldn't do much for that? IDK. I think it took other people mentioning it online for me to realize she didn't mean the math interpretation.
