(Live-blog with a bit of added stuff from re-watching)

Well I think it is BAD FORM to keep mentioning killing to a soldier. What the hell. You know I know some former military folks, some I'm preeeetty sure had to actually shoot people. You know what I don't do? BRING IT UP. JFC.

LOL hide in the bedroom in case you brought him home. OTOH I have no idea what the hell he said after that. [unintelligible sentence 1 that may be a question] [unintelligible sentence beginning] "all go wrong? Or is this good by your standards?" ETA: Okay, it's "A bit early, aren't you? Did it all go wrong?"

Ah, this is such a Moffat episode, I don't know if I can take it.

Also why do I love so much the way the Doctor says, "Remember, you are flying a Time Machine!"

Are they in Danny Pink's childhood perhaps? Ah yes, yes it is. Children's home in the 90s. Also LOL at the "You've probably forgotten! Little tiny human brains, have you seen them? They're hilarious!" And when she's like, "Isn't it bad if I meet myself." "It is, potentially, catastrophic." Ha!

LOL Doctor, stealing the guy's coffee.

Another bit of dialogue I couldn't catch: "He's not in every book!" "Really? [something likely sarcastic but I have no idea]" ETA as per [livejournal.com profile] lyssie it's "Really? Well that's a few years of my life I'll be needing back." HA!

Once upon a time... Done. Ha, that is quite the bedside manner.

(So far, eh, this one... I don't particularly care for it. It's like, Moffat went through the playbook and switched a few things round. Instead of "Don't Blink!" now you've got "Don't Look!" And I'm not really getting a feel for Twelve much either. ETA from later on: but it gets better)

Ooops, Rupert Pink, why would she bring that up!!!! I hate when writers make people intentionally stupid to generate conflict. This seems to be a habit so far. And... surprise spaceman!

"Is he a relative from the distant future?" "H-how would I know?" I really loved her delivery on that. :D

Um, if it's the end of the universe, why is there night and day?

"Did we come to the end of the universe because of a nursery rhyme?"

Does Orson Pink have magnetic boots?

Also, just that bit where the unconscious Doctor reacts to Clara's interfacing with the temporal circuits... *shudders*

Oh, of course it's Theta Sigma in the bed. After looking into the schism I suppose? Why... would the others not notice the TARDIS? I guess because of the perception filter?

Aw, Clara saves the Doctor and appears in his timeline again, once more the Impossible girl.

Okay, so the second half of this episode took a right turn and was better than the first. But the thing under the bed is a macguffin? What was it??? Kid in a bedspread I suppose. I did like the idea of fear as a constant companion. And I am really loving Clara a lot this season. She is brave and smart and kind; she gets the parts with the kids that Matt Smith's Doctor would have had.
