PRE-CIP-I-TATE (take 2)

[livejournal.com profile] auntiemeesh, I owed you a Snow Dalek, yeah? Luckily the snow was much more accommodating this afternoon! Very sticky, plus I had a foot (eta, well, 8 inches at least) of icy snow to start as a base, and an extra 4 or 5 inches on top of that of great packing snow to use. Final product behind the cut (image heavy!)

From the road, we detect a looming menace...

A Dalek Scout has decided to take control of the road up to brighton township!

The plunger is the only man-made thing on it, the rest is snow, sticks and leaves, with muddy snow used for color. And a big icicle for the gun but it's hard to see in this pic.

Some more pics:

HALT! DO NOT PASS!

SQUEEEEEE!!!!! Why do I not live near fun people? I thought about making one, but after shoveling all that snow and walking the doggie in it, I was to pooped to play in it. And it got COLD after the snows.

To bad he may not live beyond the weekend :-(

Okay to link to your photo-story??

Awesome! In my home town growing up, we hardly ever got enough good packing snow to make a large snow-anything. I only ever made two snowmen. I named my first one Arthur.

Now I really want to make one of those in the courtyard. The neighbours would be so confused... but it would be less awkward than the very "happy" snowmen they keep building everywhere. face!palm
