ha! I'm assuming that the folks knocking at the door are some kind of fictional detectives or something? that would be cool. :)

The Vashta Nerada always felt kind of secondary to me; they were the thing that was put in to scare the kids and to have a monster which seems to be a RTD requirement. So I was kind of waiting for the rest of the story to get going in part 2. There was a bit of refocusing but it didn't jar to me.
