Yeah, like he doesn't have to see the fish to know they are there. And there's also a kind of freedom in being able to redefine the activity into something that turns what would otherwise be failure into success. I think the fish in this lake are too smart to get caught in the traditional sense-- but they let Sam be the tinkerer and Teal'c be the philosopher, and Daniel be the observer and Jack be the leader, all in the act of not getting caught.
