Am I mis-remembering things, or did one of the new Who doctors jettison the Zero Room (along with some other things maybe?) to get some extra welly for the TARDIS to do something at some point? I've searched through transcripts but can't find it anywhere. I thought it might be Eleven.

ETA: It was the swimming pool, not the Zero Room. From The Doctor's Wife:
--------
RORY: Oh, what is happening?
DOCTOR: We're leaving the universe.
AMY: How can you leave the universe?
DOCTOR: With enormous difficulty. Right now I'm burning up Tardis rooms to give us some welly. Goodbye, swimming pool. Goodbye, scullery. Sayonara, squash court seven.
(Whoosh, thump, crash, then all is still and silent.)
AMY: Okay, okay. Where are we?
DOCTOR: Outside the universe, where we've never, ever been.

I feel like I remember that, but I poked around online and the fan wikis only mention the Twelfth Doctor jettisoning the Zero Room in the comics, not on the show.

It's also possible that you're remembering that Neil Gaiman wrote a Zero Room scene that got cut in the Doctor's Wife with House torturing Rory in it. https://journal.neilgaiman.com/2011/06/fairly-humongous-doctor-who-q-mostly.html (search for "zero" to find the discussion).

The only time the Zero Room was jettisoned (that I can remember) was around the Fourth/Fifth Doctors eras? But I might be misremembering, because they had to build a cabinet from portions of the Zero Room for the Fifth Doctor.
