I really liked the Zygon two-parter, a lot. That speech about it being war, was for me a cementing moment in Capaldi's tenure as Doctor. And I like that the Zygons are represented as a multi-faceted species, with good and bad aspects just like humans. The only other DW episode that I've really seen that acknowledgement was with the Ice Warriors in The Curse of Peladon.
I love how Osgood has evolved from her first Zygon episode to this one. She's become very much a strong, confident person in charge of who she is. She's never reminded me of Claudia Black, but I'll have to take an extra listen next time.
I didn't really like The Woman Who Lived all that much. Ashildr just felt a bit unconvincing as a character. I kind of like the idea of her watching out for the people the Doctor leaves behind, but I feel like it would take a lot of retconning for that to be realized.
