I was reminded anew how much I look forward to this story; I gave a happy little squeak when I saw that Part 7 was up. Your description of their flight across the desert melded action and character development, and it had that looming sense of temporal craziness that feels one step away from doom that I've come to associate with this story. A truly enjoyable (for nerve-wracked powers of "enjoyable") read!
